BEWARE OF VERY ROUGH FIRST DRAFTS. Don't expect anything too pretty or polished. I'm simply trying to squeeze out some rough ideas across the face of this blog. These musings may or may not find their way to the pages of my book. But as you will see, I'm taking certain liberties in voice and style that deviate from my published writings. I hope you enjoy, in spite of all of that.

Hey,
I read your essay in JANE. Why are you with a woman so cold? I'm a fairly emotional and sensitive woman, and one of the things I love about my boyfriend is that he's in tune with his own feelings, and, in turn, actually cares about how I feel, too.
I'm sure that there's a woman out there who would appreciate you. dump Naomi's cold ass!
Hey! I discovered you through your article in JANE. Loved it. Let me tell you, I was right with you when that commercial came on during the Superbowl. I think it was the singing in the background that got me, and the fact that I too have freckles like that one little girl... quite frankly, just thinking about it still gets me a little ferklemped. This might make you feel better though- my bank recently got bought out by Chase and everytime I think about it i get really upset, my old bank was sooo good to me. So when I saw their new commercial informing the world of their switch, I started balling.
Anyways, I think you're hilarious. And I really appreciate your openness and honesty in your writings.
ok...i am too young to get married now...but whevener you are ready please email/call me. YOU made ME cry because i was laughing so hard at the Jane article. i am a total crybaby, but i guess i get away with it being a woman. that dove commercial kills me. the chase commercial is another one....all those cards for all the stages of life...man.
i think we would have fun crying, and in turn, laughing at one another....i can't wait to stalk the rest of your website!
hi there,
just read your piece in Jane and it made me laugh so hard that other people in my office started laughing without actually knowing what i was laughing at. you seem like a sweet guy, so keep it up the good work and don't be ashamed to cry.
ps. really sappy hallmark cards that aren't actually good at all make me cry, as do stuffed animal lambs...yeah, that last one is a mystery to me too.
